Doing it right, differently, better
Quadpack’s new sustainability roadmap aims to ensure it has a positive impact in three key areas: people, processes and products
In a new world marked by changing behaviours and conscious consumerism, needs and market demands, businesses are increasingly governed by ESG (environmental, social and governance) standards. For years, Quadpack has been committed to these three factors that measure the environmental and societal impact of a company. Now, thanks to a new sustainability roadmap, they have become central to Quadpack’s business strategy and steer all its decisions.
Quadpack’s strategy for 2020-2025 is guided by our purpose of doing it “right, differently, better.” One of its main pillars is sustainability, with a roadmap that aims to ensure that the company has a positive impact on society and the environment, by pioneering sustainable transformation in three areas: people, processes and products.
Positive Impact People: following the ISO26000 framework, Quadpack commits to supporting the development of its people and its communities, fostering a culture of integrity, diversity and innovation. It includes the activities and reach of Quadpack Foundation, its charitable arm.
Positive Impact Processes: Quadpack aims to accelerate sustainable business transformation to effect manufacturing and operations, while supporting partners and suppliers to start and accelerate their own transformation. Its main framework is the EcoVadis CSR rating platform.
Positive Impact Products: at the heart of the sustainability roadmap is what Quadpack terms ‘positive-impact packaging’. This involves continually improving the sustainability of its portfolio of products, using lifecycle assessments (LCAs) to measure circularity and carbon footprint.
Over the next few months, we will detail each one of the areas of Quadpack’s sustainability roadmap and share the direction we’re taking to advance in our ‘Positive Impact’ journey. Stay tuned!
