Quadpackers volunteer for youth inclusion
Quadpack Foundation partners with Apprentis d'Auteuil, in France, to support the career development of 13 young people
Eight Quadpackers from France have engaged in a volunteer project to help young people prepare for the job market. The initiative, sponsored by Quadpack Foundation in partnership with Apprentis d'Auteuil Foundation, included CV analysis and preparation for job interviews of 13 young participants.
The project is part of Pro'Pulse, a free preparatory course with a personalised and comprehensive approach that facilitates access to apprenticeship for young people without qualifications. The programme is free and open to young people between the ages of 16 and 29 without employment or training.
In four separate sessions, the volunteers worked with the participants on their CVs and simulated job interviews to help them gain confidence in being in a corporate environment. More sessions will take place in April with new young participants. "We are thrilled to initiate this programme in France and hope it has a positive impact on these future workers' lives," said Sigrid Bellouet, Quadpack Foundation's ambassador in France.
The positive impact goes beyond their work lives. In the words of a young participant: "It gave me extra motivation. At home, I was depressed, lying down and doing nothing… I want to work! Pro'pulse gives a chance to all those who want it."
